Meet the Coaches
Doug McKay
Athletic Director - Doug has been with the program since 1998. He began as a fan, and then proceeded to do all of the things this parent/volunteer driven program offers. (Score board, sweep the floor, serve concessions, keep the gate, keep the stats, Assistant Coach, Head Coach and Athletic Director)
He presently serves as Athletic Director.
When he is not coaching or being Athletic Director, Doug is a Middle School Band Director for the Francis Howell School District.
Christy Patton
Varsity Girls Coach - Coach Patton is in her third year working with the team (s). She began as an assistant coach with the younger boys and girls. She is now the Girls Varisty Coach and continues to see yearly progress and success.
She works as a computer training consultant and is mother to three of the boys players. (Derek, Curtis and Jake)
Joel Reed
Varsity Coach Joel Reed is in his first year as Varsity Coach..
Joel is a former player with the flames and had an oustanding career as a point guard / forward.
He is presently the most winning coach of the flames and is the only coach in Flames history to score over 100 points in a game.
Andrew Berry
Andrew is starting is starting his first year as Assistant Coach for the Varsity and JV Coach.
He is a former player with the Flames.
Kaylee Saunders
JV Girls Coach and Varsity Girls Assistant - Coach Saunders is in her first year as an assistant. A player for over 7 years she enjoyed a great amount of success as a point guard.
